Roger Williams Park Zoo is little known outside of Rhode Island, but has improved over the years to include some world-class exhibits.

The Polar Bear Exhibit is one of the most popular attractions, especially since the birth of Kobe, now 8 months old, to Trixie, a long-time resident of the park.

The zoo, located on the Providence/Cranston line, is a welcome retreat from the urban neighborhoods surrounding it.
