The Equipment

Although I still lugged everything around with me, all the images in this gallery were produced with one body and one lens:

• Canon EOS D30 body (3.3 Megapixel CMOS sensor)
• Canon EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L USM IS Zoom Lens

The 100-400mm lens is a weighty beast to work with, but the big glass and image stabiliaztion work wonders.

All images were shot at 2160x1440 resolution using "FINE" compression.
